"I enjoyed this movie. It's about a feisty woman who wants to get away from a mean ex and answers a letter to her recently deceased friend, for a mail-order bride. I felt sorry for the prospective husband when he met the woman because she didn't tell him she wasn't the one he had been writing to and expected to marry. I liked the characters, plot, scenery, horses, and the ending. It was suspenseful and heartwarming at the same time. As the characters revealed themselves, I became even more interested to see what the outcome was going to be, especially when her past caught up wit..."

The main filming location is Barkerville, British Columbia, Canada. Barkerville was the main town of the 1860's Cariboo Gold Rush in It is preserved as a historic town. As a National Historic site, located on the Cariboo Wagon Trail, it was been restored in the 1950's to the form if it's heyday of the 1860's.
