"Ulf Malmros has made one of my favorite Swedish films. Smala Sussie. This one didn't live up to it, but was very close. First of all, great cinematography. I love the shots that follows the actors all around the place. Second of all, great script. Malmros is a great writer and this movie has a lot of quotable lines, most of them made by Kjell Bergquist. Which brings me to the third great thing about this movie, great acting. Everyone is just wonderful in their parts and are very well-casted. Especially Bergquist and Björn Starrin are fantastic. I really hope Ulf Malmros keeps making these..."
