💡 Did You Know?
Red's opening monologue includes a man eating popcorn in a movie theater and reacting to the activities on the screen. In the main sketch, titled "Voyage to Paris", Clem Kadiddlehopper has won several prizes in various contests, including a trip to Paris. Before he sets sail, Maw and Paw Kadiddlehopper appear to see him off. But the sponsor wants his representative to put a stop to all of Clem's winnings by arranging a perfectly miserable excursion to convince Clem not to enter any more contests. Clem survives a very rocky cruise to the French city and, upon arrival, the sponsor's agent sends Clem to a very dangerous café where he runs into some rough patrons.
