"A review from 2015 did an excellent job summarizing this episode so I just want to focus on what appears to be the sole reason this episode exists. The final scene features Mary singing, alone on her porch, magically accompanied by full instrumentation (performed by unseen musicians, a la Hollywood musicals). The song she sang, "Big Star", was a single by Shelly "Mary Stone" Fabares, that was released to coincide with the airing of this episode. The lyrics of "Big Star" somewhat mirror the main gist of the episode, so I conclude the whole point of airing this was..."
