"Hayseed does so many things right. It checks all the boxes of a classic Whodunit. Investigative dialogue with a jazzy backing track. A puzzle that you feel invested in solving along with the protagonist, played by a sensational Bill Sage. By far, my favorite part of the movie is the characters. Each one so well captured and portrayed, they could have their own trading cards. The second watch of this movie was even more enjoyable than the first, despite knowing the answers to the mystery, because the characters were so fun to revisit. Hayseed is a delightful watch and I would gladly recommend..."
