"I watched this movie because I'm a fan of Masaki Suda. I've always considered him a great actor-even when he's in some offbeat or silly films, he still manages to bring depth and authenticity to his characters. In this movie, he delivers once again. That said, there are quite a few scenes that just don't make much sense. They're executed well, and the cinematography is beautiful-as is often the case with Japanese films-but there was one particular moment (without giving anything away) that honestly had me thinking, "How the hell did that happen?"
