Jérôme Boucher was planning the shooting of his first feature when a lot of problems occurred concerning the actors' schedule, the weather and the time needed to make this feature. However, the director did not shoot anything in a year and was so hellbent on doing a film that he asked a bunch of his friends to join the bandwagon and wrote the script for "Le Doux Chant des Sirènes" in just two days. With 300$ in his pocket, Boucher never tought it would give a 30-minutes film.
