"I wasn't expecting to love it this much! (I loved the first season of Bridgeton but didn't care much for the second). However, this is even better than the first season of Bridgerton. The dialogue is perfect, the acting delicate and powerful, the female characters are incredibly strong and the love story between Charlotte and George brought tears to my eyes. The last episode was an 11/10! I couldn't recommend it more and I only wish a season two was in the works. It would be great to find out more about Queen Charlotte's life and to see more of the actors too. Absolutel..."

Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz arrived at St. James's Palace in London on 8 September 1761. She was received by the King and his family at the garden gate. Within six hours of her arrival, Charlotte was united in marriage with King George III. The ceremony was performed at the Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace, by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
