"I didn't expect much from this based on the synopsis, but I'm glad I took a punt. The supporting characterisations are really interesting, and the two leads are different and dysfunctional in quite separate ways. I'm really interested to see where they go with this and how the character arcs develop. I'm also really interested to see how the cartoon/manga aspects are further used, as they allow you to take a step back from what is otherwise a quite blasé consideration for violence...."
