"Spazkid's vision of Sonichu is something that current generation of netizens would probably frown upon. It's 2009's internet humor encapsulated in nearly one hour of content, representing the times it was created. Crude jokes, offensive vocabulary, simplistic images and animation made in Flash - everything about this cartoon take me on a journey to much simplet times. Do I recommend this? Yes. Highly. But not if you're born after 2000 and don't know who Chris Chan is...."

Cory Spazkid said he ended the series due to creative differences with the writers and voice actors. He also said that he stopped making the show because felt bad for making fun of Chris-Chan, due to the tragic events that was going on with Chris' life at the time.
