"Gerard Depardieu is absolutely awesome in this twilight role, a very moving, poignant character, made just for him and directed by a talented Jean Becker for whom this kind of topic is not something new. But besides Depardieu, I think the cast performance is a bit too smooth, light hearted and not very convenient to the rest of the purpose. Maybe the screenwriters wanted to create a counterpoint of some sadness. Unfortunately this is a bit ankward, too comedy oriented. I was a little bored during the viewing.
