Avoids the obvious question
"Moreno never presents herself as a victim, but she is frank about all that she had to endure in order to have a career: humiliating roles, manhandling, rape. Unfortunately she never frankly addresses why she believed the abuse was worth it. This documentary strives for a celebratory tone of an accomplished EGOT career but it's hard to rejoice at the immense personal cost along the way. It would have been more interesting to have her reflect on whether it was worth it and why...."
