"A heavy film. From the atmosphere, reminding deep isolation to Afrikaans. Two brothers and their special story. A sort of love story, remaining ambiguous to the end. A bitter poem about solitude, fears, religion and choices. And the words of Gospel as guide across a plot who seems dark to dark. A film who did not gives explanations. The atmosphere seems be the only gift to the viewer because the end seems only a mix of revenge or beginning of old tradition, a sort of exile or sacrifice as price of normality. A bizarre film.
