James walks into Forrester Creations with a torn shirt and reveals to Eric and Stephanie that he was kidnapped and held captive for the last month by Sheila. In another office, Mike swears Megan to secrecy about his relationship with Sheila after being threatened by Stephanie. Eric calls the police to have Sheila arrested. However, when they get to the mansion, the basement in which James locked Sheila is empty. It seems like Sheila found Harry Houdini's diary and therefore uncovered his tricks to escape from seemingly impossible constraints. Now that Sheila has shown her true colors and is one the loose, Stephanie genuinely fears for the safety of James and her family. Meanwhile, Sheila shows up at a startled Mike's apartment and asks him for help. Ridge is still left confused by Taylor's unexpected return from the dead: what if he were to recapture his wonderful life with her? Meanwhile, Taylor and Omar continue with their conversation at his hotel. He reproaches her severely for abandoning him, the orphans and his people, even though she made a vow. Taylor replies that their marriage would never have happened if she had known who she was. Omar reminds her that Ridge has already shown her that he will stay with Brooke and their children.
