Leading the case is DCI Him Taggart, a hard biased Glasgow copper, assisting him is softly spoken DS Peter Livingstone, it's not a harmonious working arrangement. It's a very good start to the series, it is so different visually and musically to the main show, it doesn't really feel like what would follow, but then again, it is a pilot.
