"I liked the stage like setting that was used as part of this film and I could almost even cope with the Midsomer Night's Dream ethereal and dream like moments, but in general the whole film did feel a bit too trippy, like something that Derek Jarman might have made and his success rate on my filmic educational journey has been very minimal. There was also a strange Mediterranean cinema element to it, as if it might have been made in Spain rather than Wales.
