"Believe me, I really did try to cut "The Trial" (from 1958) some serious slack. But, regardless of that - I thought that the scriptwriters for this episode took this whole business about "circumstantial evidence" against Bud to a most ridiculous extreme. Yep. This episode's story writers were really grasping at straws here in their feeble attempt at trying to work this whole "hearsay" situation into an interesting and entertaining tale (in order to keep the viewer amused throughout)...."
