💡 Did You Know?

Though it was not explicitly requested by producers, Mike O'Brian took a method acting approach to prepare for his role of THE MAN. O'Brian reportedly traveled to various locations with freezing climates and would spend hours stand outside of standalone ATMs, sometimes for entire evenings. O'Brian would gauge reactions from ATM users upon seeing him, which helped inform his character. On one occasion in Greenland, a frightened woman phoned the police and O'Brian was arrested. Once he explained the situation and presented his SAG card, the police released him from custody. In subsequent interviews, O'Brian stated that he enjoyed his preparation for the role and he would not have appeared as menacing on screen without the prior training.
