"Every now and then, a horror film comes along that doesn't just go for the jugular. 'Hayride to Hell' is a low-budget, tongue-in-cheek splatterfest with more personality than polish, and a wicked sense of humour that's rarer than a sober farmhand at harvest time. The setup is simple, the execution delightfully deranged. Bill Moseley (who could do "maniacal but charming" in his sleep) plays farmer Bob, a seemingly mild-mannered man just trying to run his hayride attraction until greed, deceit, and small-town idiocy push him over the edge.
