Originally the grown-up puppets used in the scenes of first part of the film didn't have any heads on their necks since they would not be in frame. Unfortunately the crew had to re-shoot the scene where the family photo is being taken, because they suddenly noticed that the shadows of the parents on the wall were missing heads. But it was an easy fix; the production quickly molded two balls of clay, pressed them flat and stuck them on the wire coming up from the neck.
