"Clyde and Rani wake up to find they're the only two people around, even the great City of London is silent and empty. It's a classic, hard to fault episode, this one is suspenseful, exciting and very well paced. I imagine this one would have been somewhat disturbing for the younger viewers, imagine waking up to find nobody around, only your awkward love interest. Doctor Who did a similar thing way back in Invasion of the Dinosaurs, one of my all time favourites, so creepy, that vibe worked so well here too. A little intrigue too, what's that bugle call?
