She is neither willing to close her practice nor to play Russian roulette with her marriage by having her husband spend months of lonely evenings in Europe with Brooke. Ridge breaks Taylor's heart when he explains that he cannot give up on the chance to regain control over the company. After he has already left for the airport, Taylor receives a most unexpected visitor: Brooke.
