When Wallace answers the door, a flat cap and blue gray raincoat are seen hanging up next to Gromit's yellow raincoat & hat; this is a tribute to Wallace's original voice actor, Peter Sallis, who wore the flat cap and raincoat in his role as Norman Clegg in Last of the Summer Wine (1973), a series which would last until Sallis retired from acting in 2010, seven years before his death in 2017.
