FEELING THE BLUES

The blue team is struggling from another crushing loss at last weeks weigh in and the exit of Yana from Malaysia. The red team on the other hand is surprisingly united as they celebrate their victory despite the previous weeks bickering and accusations that some red members are colluding with the Blues. Perhaps the Reds are finally getting their team act together.

Peachy is feeling down that her roommate has left the show. Fellow Blue Shakira is also apprehensive about the decision to eliminate fellow Malaysian Yana from the Blue team. She says, Now that I have voted out a girl from my team, it is going to be extra hard for me to stay in the game, because I know the boys will never vote for each other.

And unknown by the Blues, the red team too has noticed what looks to be a male alliance on their part. Lori keenly observes, The girls just dont seem that concerned that they are going to be picked off one by one by the boys on that team.

The Reds are definitely concerned by the threat that they feel Raj poses to their team. Fish and Manjit make their way to the Blue girls room to warn them about the Blue male alliance.

Manjit reasons, Fish and I are trying our best to brainwash the girls to think twice about their actions. We are talking about Raj. He is the mastermind behind everything. Who knows, maybe he will get the guys to vote Shakira and Peachy out next.

PEP TALKS AND JESTING

The next day, Dave learns of Yanas departure from The Biggest Loser Asia. While disappointed that her journey has been adruptly cut short, Dave shares, I felt really optimistic and proud of Yana, she has built the self belief that she requires to continue this journey on her own.

Dave then tries to pep talk his team, Im not a believer in reliving past failures. Its done. Youve got to put it behind you and push harder in the gym. Youve to discover that you can do anything you put your mind to. So step it up!

The red team bonds over their success and moving on from the shock of Scotts unfortunate elimination. And even Kristy is ecstatic at finding her team intact, so much so that she jokes with Nai who has won Biggest Loser of the Week.

Kristy jests, Biggest Loser of the week, how did you do that?

How did you make me do that? A cheeky Nai shoots back.

Fish too is positive of her team spirit and gushes, We are getting more focused than ever.

WEAK LINK & BACK

Both teams go into the weeks training determined to come out on the winning side of the scales. Dave has on his hands this week, the weakest link on his team Peachy, who had lost only a kilo at last weeks weigh in.

While on the Red team, Genghis is still having back problems and makes a trip to the hospital for a check up. The doctor explains to Genghis that his back problems are due to his extra weight, and he is delighted that he can still participate in the daily training.

TRUCK CHALLENGE

At this weeks challenge, the contestants are confronted by two enormous trucks, weighing approximately 10 tonnes each. Marion informs the contestants that they will as a team pull a truck for a distance of 50 meters. The winning team will get to decide which two members of their team will sit out of the weeks weigh in.

Raj is thrilled to know that Genghis and Patty from the red team will be sitting out of the challenge.

He says confidently, We will beat the red team in the challenge. We have three strong guys and two girls who can push themselves harder than any girl on the red team.

With the whistle blown, the teams begin pulling the trucks to no avail. It is a struggle. They then decide to change tactics and start pushing the truck from behind, as a measure to save energy and gain more ground.

Unfortunately for Raj, the red team takes the lead, using their momentum to pull their truck over the finish line, a skip ahead of the blue team, to win the challenge.

On the sidelines, an over-ecstatic Genghis chants, The red team is back!

And with yet another blow to the team, the Blues morale is at rock bottom. Indonesian Leo comments, Losing sucks. I have the impression that the blue team is a better physical team, but this challenge proves otherwise.

OPERATION SHAPE UP

Dave kicks off the blue teams last chance training with an operation shape up workout plan. Here, the blue team is working out even harder than ever in a bid to win this weeks weigh in.

Thinking about her failed attempt at losing a lot of weight last week, Peachy is surprisingly positive. She says, I think Im confident in this weigh in. The result will show that I really deserve to be here.

Despite the red teams dominance of the weigh in so far, Kristy isnt taking chances by being complacent, and pushes her team to work to their full potential.

TIPPING TOWARDS A WRONG CHOICE

It is an anxious moment as the teams head into the weigh-in room. Losing is not an option for the blue team whose members have been picked off over the past few weeks.

With the red team winning the weeks challenge, they get to exempt the weight of two members from their teams overall weight loss percentage. The Reds have selected Patty and Genghis to sit out of the weigh in.

Patty has lost 2kg while Genghis has lost a whopping 6kg, shocking him and his teammates. They appear to be regretting their choice and the blue team is quietly thrilled at the outcome.

Manjit is then called to step on the scale. She, like Patty, has lost 2kg. Raj who follows next has lost 3kg.

Fish and Jon follow suit and have lost 3kg too. The Blues are in the lead by a kilo.

Lori then steps onto the scales and horrifies herself and her team with only a kilo loss.

Dumbfounded, Lori comments, I am very disappointed that Ive lost only a kilo. I just cant believe that others who didnt work as hard achieved bigger numbers than I did!

The blue team is smiling as Leo takes the stage and takes for the team a 2kg loss. They can almost smell victory.

Nai then steps on the scale to show 3kg loss of his weight, while his fellow Thai contestant Peachy has lost nothing this week. Tension is palpable at this point and it seems Peachys time on the Biggest Loser Asia camp is ticking.

Raj is outraged for Peachy. He says, Its shocking that Peachy didnt lose anything because she worked very hard this week. How does someone who has been working out so much not lose any weight? Its mind boggling.

Saw weighs-in next and has lost the first encouraging number for the Reds thus far - 4kg. Shakira follows but isnt as lucky as she too has not lost any weight this week. The Reds now have a total weight loss of 13kg and a 2.20% overall weight loss percentage, and the Blues are setback with a total of 8kg weight loss and a 1.30% overall weight loss percentage.

ANOTHER BLUE TO FACE FAT-CUTTING

With another elimination on the cards, the Blues hang their heads in frustration, Peachy and Shakira all the more upset with hitting a plateau and becoming a target at this weeks fat-cutting.

Leo sums up his feelings, Its not a good feeling to lose two weigh-ins in a row. We were hoping for this great finale to win, and Shakira pulled a zero.

Raj adds, The girls know that one of them may be going home because both pulled a zero each. HOT DEFENCE

It is time for deliberation and Peachy is hotly defending her spot in the competition. She says, Ive burnt like 4000 calories everyday. My hard work doesnt reflect my result so today is the most shocking day of my life because Ive lost nothing. Shakira has lost zero kilos too and honestly I work harder than her.

Shakira on the other hand is less quick to defend herself as she hears Peachys outburst.

ELIMINATION

The blue team heads into the elimination room for the second time and they walk past fridges filled with foods from their past. Marion kicks off the elimination with Rajs vote. He reveals his vote for Peachy. Leo follows with another vote for Peachy. Peachy then votes for Shakira, expressing her wish to continue in being in the game.

Shakira is next, revealing her vote for Peachy and sealing Peachys elimination from The Biggest Loser Asia.

Despite her ups and downs in the competition and being kicked out of the competition, Peachy is determined to continue her weight loss journey. She shares in retrospect, My Biggest Loser experience has been really tremendous. I am very excited to take on the challenge out in the real world. I am sure there are a lot of temptations and distractions but I will fight through it and prove to the guys that unlike before, I am now able to lose weight even in the real world.
