First opened in 2005, the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta is the largest aquarium in the world housing over 100,000 animals in over 10 million gallons of marine and salt water. The aquarium's animals are displayed in seven galleries and exhibits: Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold Water Quest, River Scout, Dolphin Celebration, Pier 225, and Aquanaut Adventure: A Discovery Zone. Each corresponds to a specific environment.The Aquarium's notable specimens include whale sharks, beluga whales, California sea lions, bottlenose dolphins, and manta rays. Located just a short drive north of Atlanta, you will find a one-of-a kind unique, fun destination for the entire family. Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, Inc. (INK), located in Gainesville, Georgia, is a hands-on Children's Museum where children can role play and learn through practical experiences. All exhibits are designed to provide a unique experience and to actively engage young minds (not to mention, it's just plain fun!). Babyland General Hospital is the "birthplace" of the Cabbage Patch Kids located in Cleveland, Georgia. Xavier Roberts converted an old clinic into a facility from which to sell his dolls, originally called "Little People." It is presented as a birthing, nursery, and adoption center for premium Cabbage Patch Kids. First opened in 1990, the American Adventures family entertainment center operated next door to White Water in Marietta, Georgia, even using the same parking lot. This facility included a number of small scale carnival rides, indoor and outdoor mini-golf, go-carts, games and video arcade, play area, a four-story foam ball play structure appropriately named "the foam factory", and restaurant. American Adventures closed in 2010. Imagine It. Children's Museum of Atlanta is a hands on museum designed for kids under the age of nine. Located in downtown Atlanta adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park, the Museum strives to spark every child's imagination, sense of discovery and learning through the power of play.
