"In this episode I've noticed something fascinating. The first 10 minutes were so bad that I honestly couldn't finish the episode. So I stopped and watch the other half the next day. The second part of the episode was actually decent! So the obvious conclusion is that Val ruined the episode for the most part. We all already knew that she's pretty terrible.
