"Both the halves of this plot unify to the same message, but fall well short of being interesting, despite their massive potential. The comedy just doesn't quite land, and the emotion just isn't there. The focus is on Sunny's discomfort with everyone wanting to see her as an alicorn, and Pipp's jealousy of Hitch with his social media fame. Where it could've shined in making them relatable and interesting, more than just 1-note ponies, it instead made them seem even more vapid, only concerned with fleeting popularity.
