"A marvelously beautiful reproduction of Alpine scenery. The original negative was made from the train on the way up Mont Blanc, thus reproducing accurate and wonderfully beautiful views of the scenery in the mountains. The film ends with the wonderful "Sea of Ice," and so well did the operator do his work that it actually creates the impression of immensity. Not all operators understand this feature of their work, but in this instance the interpretation is sufficiently sympathetic to convey to the one who sees the film something of the actual quality of the original.
