"St.Petersburg is one of the few genuinely funny films made in Iran in last few years which delivers laughs through a first rate script full of memorable dialog and clever situations. A couple of drifters come upon a dying old man in the street who whispers to them the existence of a treasure from the Tsar's era somewhere in Tehran. The rest of the film concerns the hilarious attempts of these two to find the treasure and their continuous attempts to con each other.
