"The original Cool Cat voice actor was so charming in his role, it was absolutely hilarious, and the original Cool Cat Saves the Kids is amazing because of that. This movie has Derek Savage dub over his voice lines. It's still pretty funny in certain areas, but the charm of the original is no longer present without the classic Cool Cat voice. If you are going to watch. Cool Cat Saves the Kids you should watch the original. I hope that Johnson and Savage can make up their differences again and become friends, because as my childhood hero Cool Cat says, friends are coooooooooooooooooooooo..."

The voice of Jason Johnson, the original actor of Cool Cat is almost entirely removed and replaced with Derek Savage's impersonation of Cool Cat.
