"Following on from UK Drag Race versus the World, we get Canada's attempt at the format and almost immediately it gets infected by the general niceness of the Canadian wing of the franchise. In fact, there's so much kindness and solidarity in season 1 that it builds to one of the calmest and least tense finales I've ever seen. This isn't a negative thing though and the more conniving nature of the "all stars" format is almost hilariously ineffective here, leading instead to gentle allyship and calm consensus.
