"What an embarresment for the BBC this very quickly became. Overly hyped, possibly because the BBC were just glad of anything new to show after the slim pickings they had to call upon during the pandemic, and a bit of a 'two finger salute' to rivals ITV, as they had Holly Willoughby as one of the hosts. Unfortunately there's only so many times you can see fairly middling level celebs (and to be fair, these were a bit higher up the ladder celebs than this sort of thing normally attracts) jump into freezing cold water (or similar style challenges) before you go "alright, see..."
