During his opening monologue, Red does numerous seagulls gags. He also demonstrates how people from different cities walk up the street and he pantomimes how different people cross the street. In the first Skelton Film Scrapbook, titled "Lt. Muscles", Clem Kaddiddlehopper is mistaken by an ex-G.I. for Lt. Muscles of the US Army. In the second Skelton Film Scrapbook, called "George Putnam of International News Service Versus Lord Beaverhead of the BBC", the two commentators compete for the latest news scoops. Movie star John Wayne makes a cameo appearance.
