"I guess this is one of the episodes where you have to watch it to watch the upcoming episodes. Even this character was introduced before in Steins;Gate pretty much they just got important. When the Lab members are voting on what to name the e-mails to the past, Daru suggests "The Mail Who Leapt Through Time," a reference to the anime The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006). Mayuri nominates "Back to the Mail," which is a reference to Back to the Future (1985), and afterwards suggests "DeLorean mail," a reference to Doc's time-traveling car. They agree on "D-Mail," a shortened form of DeLorean Mail.
