"I finally got around to watching a movie after finishing The Good Place. American Fighter really does not hold back from the start, you are hit with the truth of what Iran is like for anyone that does not follow the order of the regime and although this is based in the early 80's. The story revolves around a young Persian boy who is sent to America to escape the nonsense of Iran, and at some stage, he tries to bring his wife out of there, and he has to become a fighter to get the money to save his mother from Iran and help her fight her cancer treatment.
