"So episode is author cry. We all know that anime wanted a 25 episode like a season 1, but director of KADOKAWA don't have a infinity money and resources of drawers. And this episode is lite version of adventures of Naofumi and friends, and yeah episode like that needed not at the finale, we need this in middle season for chill. Season 2 is not bad, it just have a many little chills moments like at that episode, and this thing is prime promblem why Season 2 very hated by community and ranobe fans.
