Season 8 and I&apos;m running out of empathy for House. First him handling his breakup with Cuddy like a spoiled teenager and now the Dominica plot. I can&apos;t stop thinking that, on the premise that he&apos;s a neglected child turned-to-adult-addict, we keep searching for deeper meanings when it comes to life choices that are simply selfish, mean hearted and show no respect for the relationship. Just House taking care of his urges at any cost.

A good reminder that addiction and childhood &quot;trauma&quot; do not and should not be always linked to antisocial behavior. Maybe it&apos;s not always the Vicodin, maybe it&apos;s just House. Getting tired of pretending House is a good but troubled man.
