"In a cartoon country in which characters from Mother Goose, fairy tales and Alice in Wonderland live together, two pointy-nosed figures in dark, ghostly robes snicker and encourage people to drive badly. This driving safety cartoon was sponsored by Met Life. To me it seems a bit odd to use these childish images. Were small children to hector their parents into obeying the speed limit? However, that feeling may be because I grew up in the era when every driver's education class showed BLOOD ON THE ROAD. The visuals of this cartoon are not topnotch.
