"I thought I'd hate it but my daughter made me watch it and it was so much fun! The cast look like they had a ball making it. Sure, it's a cheesy Christmas movie but they're supposed to be cheesy. Maybe, because I'm Australian, it felt more relatable than the cringe-worthy, northern hemisphere Christmas movies that are usually dished up at this time of year. The acting was great and the kids were delightful. I mostly remember Matt Okine from his days as a Triple J radio presenter but he has solid acting chops.
