Such is oddball nature of the relationship between the creator and the spectator that, every now and then, the creator really should take the entire audience out for milk and cookies. Or, in the case of this show, buy each a pony to compensate for the mess this show has become. The first season was not merely brilliant, it struck a chord with parents and kids alike.
