"Andy Kaufman (brilliantly immortalized in Jim Carrey's MAN IN THE MOON) was right. Such is oddball nature of the relationship between the creator and the spectator that, every now and then, the creator really should take the entire audience out for milk and cookies. Or, in the case of this show, buy each a pony to compensate for the mess this show has become. The first season was not merely brilliant, it struck a chord with parents and kids alike. Parents with long memories loved the nostalgia, and the new generation was intrigued by a good story with good players. Then a bad thing happen..."
