"I stumbled upon the 2022 Vietnamese drama thriller "Cô Gái Tu Quá Khu" (aka "Girl From the Past") by random chance here in 2023. Needless to say that with my fascination and love of the Asian cinema that of course I had to sit down and watch it without ever having heard about it. And seeing that the movie had scored a 7.3 rating here on IMDb, when I sat down to watch the movie, I figured that I would be in for quite a treat here. Director Namcito didn't manage to deliver a particularly wholesome movie here. It was a movie that was flawed in terms of a very slow paced..."
