"Watching "The Foundling", I was reminded at times (especially in the self-flagellation subplot) of Peter Medak's Peter O'Toole classic "The Ruling Class", that brought satire and black humor to a very high level. Kate Winslet's precise, deadpan delivery of her lines makes the craziness easy to take, and of course real-life monstrous behavior (think: Elon Musk) puts this fictional absurdity to shame.
