"Senza Rete" is a documentary about the increasingly widespread phenomenon of cyberbullying. Parallel to the growth of various forms of youth distress, requests for help from boys and girls who are victims of cyberbullying have tripled: it is not just a phenomenon to be investigated, but a monster to be looked at in the face in order to recognize and deal with it. Because, as we often hear from those on the other side, nothing bad was intended, after all, it was just a joke, a goliard. Those who persecute hide behind the network of social media belittling the seriousness of their actions, those who are persecuted, on the other hand, in that network, remain entangled, to the point of running the risk of suffocation. "Senza Rete" intends to remove that net, which can be an alibi or an instrument of torture at the same time. And it does so by placing at the center of its narrative the stories of some of the boys and girls who have been victims of cyberbullying, through their direct testimony and that of the people closest to them.
