The setting, the boredom, the closed community all create for boundaries and it is the almost soap opera realism that makes it understandable. This production eschewed the props, fair enough, and opted for chairs and intersecting seated parts. It's not so much a stage play, as a radio drama, where the dialog pairings are visible.
