I&apos;ve always been fascinated by finding micro-short horror films and eagerly anticipate watching them to see how well they build suspense and deliver a brief yet impactful moment of brutal horror. Given the brevity of such films, crafting these elements effectively is a challenging art. In my opinion, The Forest, with a runtime of just over one minute, tackles this challenge quite well. The film follows a young woman hiking in the forest who discovers she might not be alone. While the ending is somewhat predictable and the otherworldly being could be more terrifying, the film still manages to deliver some genuine chills.
