Carson basically tells us this two hour broadcast will be a filler fest with a half dozen guest performances and performances from booted contestants before the announcement of the winner.

Performance: Finalist Jermaine Paul brings back Pip, Jamar Rogers, and James Massone to sing "I Want You Back' by the Jackson 5. They make an adorable quartet and sound great together. (But why not 5?) "Take that boy bands," says Carson.

Video Package: We get bloopers from the coaches.

Performance: Flo Rida performs a medley of his hits "Whistle" and "Wild Ones" with an assist from finalist Juliet Simms.

Performance: Finalist Chris Mann brings back Lindsey Pavao and Katrina Parker to sing "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve. This is a good choice for Chris and Katrina but it doesn't favor Lindsey's quirk at all. They sound a little bizarre together.

Video Package: A compendium of clips that illustrates Adam and Blake's "bromance."

Performance: Hall and Oates sing "Rich Girl" with an assist from Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca, and Chris Mann. Hall and Oates do not need the help but they make a nice trio of backing vocalists.

Video Package: A clipfest of the judges talking about the other judges.

Performance: Naia Kete, Kim Yarbrough, Cheesa, and Sera Hill sing "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder. They are cute and sassy.

We get a "Parks and Recreation" spoof with Cee Lo visiting Pawnee.

Performance: Finalist Juliet Simms calls back Erin Willet, Jamar Rogers, and RaeLynn to help her sing the Joe Cocker version of the Beatles "With a Little Help From My Friends."

Video Package: We get a compendium of clips of "Cee Lo's cat" Purrfect. Seriously.

Performance: Lady Antebellum sing their song "Wanted You More"

Performance: Tony Lucca brings back Jordis Unga to help him "Go Your Own Way" by Fleetwood Mac

We get a "Saturday Night Live" spoof with Kenan Thompson as Cee Lo.

Video Package: We get a clip package of the Final Four doing press, attending parties, and hanging out with their coaches. Carson also announces that all four of them won a car from Kia. And then we get a Kia commercial from Carson.

Performance: Justin Bieber performs his new single "Boyfriend." Say what you will but the kid can move.

Carson announces the final results.

Fourth place: Chris Mann Third place: Tony Lucca Second place: Juliet Simms

Winner: Jermaine Paul from Team Blake

He semi-sings his final song "I Believe I Can Fly" in between the embrace of his wife and fellow contestants and family and friends. Confetti falls. And that's a wrap.

Somewhere Alicia Keys is beaming to be sure.
