The first public screening of this short took place in august 2009, during the festival "Carthago delenda est" in Mondragone, Caserta, Italy. The short was shown in an old medieval church and shocked some of locals, at a point that the local priest was called to force the crew to stop the second screening. The day after the screening, the same priest wrote a letter to the Mayor of Mondragone to ask him to forbid in the future any public screening of the director. The other artists involved in the festival were also marked as 'blasphemous'. The letter had no consequences for the director or any of the artists involved in "Carthago delenda Est".
