"It's all about style when it comes to Joe. So all the opportunities he has to kill Ryan or have him killed are squandered so he can finish his novel. What is hard to understand is why he has such a great following. We are taken on a ride, even though a bit of careful restraint would have put a stop to this. I believe that there has to be some explanation why these people are so malleable. They are, themselves, being slaughtered on a whim. Just too far-fetched. I guess when the first season is over, I will hang it up...."
