Turning a Simple Journey into an Existential Experience
"This episode gives me a sensation of nostalgia. Perhaps it's the surreal atmosphere created by the artwork, or the way the characters do very little, yet unwittingly inspire unexpected amounts of meaning and emotion, offering the viewer something to ponder. I'm reminded of Nietzsche's idea of der Wille zur Macht, "the Will to Power," by the episode's themes of free will, ambition, and Existentialism...."
