From Utah Beach to the Hürtgen Forest With Clément Horvath Part of a series of shows about the battles for the Hürtgen Forest - September 1944 to February 1945 In today's show Clément Horvath, will talk about his forthcoming book: "Till the Job is Done": Scheduled for release in June 2023. This new book (his third and published in both French and English) is based on a collection of 250 letters from Otis Hewett, an American Captain in the 8th Regiment, 4th Infantry Division. The book will be complemented by a free documentary, in which Clément follows Hewet's footsteps from Utah Beach (where he arrived as a replacement shortly after D-Day) to the dark Hürtgen Forest in Germany (where he was wounded in December 1944). Otis took part in the breakout of Normandy, the liberation of Paris, and fought tough battles on the Siegfried line... while telling all about it in his extraordinary "self-censored" letters.
